We built Nexus Hub to help people hurt less and explore more. Your privacy is part of that promise. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and what we'll never do with it.

Nexus Hub is currently in Alpha. This privacy policy reflects our current data practices. As the platform evolves, this policy will be updated. Full Terms of Service are in development and will be published before any paid features go live.

What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect the minimum information needed to make Nexus Hub work for you.

Your email address — used to identify your account and send essential notices only.
A password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication — we never see it in plain text).
Your in-platform activity — agent interactions, world-building sessions, and CARE balance — stored to power your experience across sessions.
Basic usage data — pages visited, features used — to understand how to improve the platform.

We do not collect your real name, phone number, location, or payment information during Alpha.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used for one purpose: making Nexus Hub work well for you.

To maintain your account and save your progress across sessions.
To personalize your agent interactions and world continuity.
To understand how people use the platform so we can improve it.
To contact you about essential platform updates (not marketing spam).

What We Will Never Do

This is the part that matters most to us.

We will never sell your data to third parties. Ever.
We will never use your conversation data to train AI models without explicit opt-in consent.
We will never serve you ads or share your data with advertisers.
We will never share your data with anyone outside of essential platform services.

Third-Party Services

Nexus Hub uses a small number of trusted services to operate:

Firebase (Google) — authentication and database storage. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
Anthropic Claude API — powers AI agent conversations. Conversation data is processed per Anthropic's usage policies.

We only use services we trust and have evaluated carefully. We do not use advertising networks or data brokers.

Your Rights

You are in control of your data.

You may request a copy of your data at any time.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data.
You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

Children's Privacy

Nexus Hub is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

As Nexus Hub grows from Alpha toward full release, this policy will be updated. We'll notify you of material changes via email and an in-platform notice. The current version is always available at this page.

Continued use of Nexus Hub after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
